You Can Still Have A Day Job

Linda - Newspaper Carrier, 35 Years

When they asked me to write a blurb about being a carrier, it really made me stop and think. Why Do I deliver these routes? The extra money is always nice, but doing a job well is its own reward! Every morning when I see that my paperwork has no complaints or errors it’s like getting a gold star! Just like when I was a kid in school. I am proud to be a carrier, and I like the Interaction and relationships I have built with my customers. Many of them have become good friends. As an independent contractor, I set my own hours, as long as I meet the delivery deadlines in my contract. I like having my days free to do what I need or want to do. More time to make Salsa!!
